UCHealth offers a complete continuum of services for any health journey.
UCHealth is the only academic medical center and the largest cardiovascular and thoracic program in Colorado. We offer a comprehensive continuum of care, ranging from medical management and lifestyle guidance to advanced diagnostics and procedures, including catheterizations, angioplasty and pacemaker implantation. Our cardiac and vascular surgeons are experts in providing specialized surgical treatments tailored to any heart health journey.
In addition to cutting-edge cardiovascular research and treatments, UCHealth hosts clinical trials. You might qualify to participate in a research study about your cardiovascular condition, which could give you access to treatments months or years before they are available to the general public.

Collaborative congenital heart disease care.
We provide expert care to adults with congenital heart disease, whether your case is simple or complex. Our multidisciplinary program has specialists in numerous fields, including congenital heart surgeons, heart-imaging specialists, electrophysiologists and more. Advances in medicine and technology mean that children born with congenital heart disease are living longer than ever, but might still need continued care and follow-up treatments as adults. Our doctors, who are specifically trained in adult congenital heart disease, care for patients at UCHealth as well as at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Our team can use resources from both hospitals to provide care that neither facility could provide alone.

Cardiac rehab gets you back in rhythm.
After a cardiac event, you need to rebuild the strength of that muscle and improve your cardiovascular health. Our cardiac rehabilitation program is supervised by a team of medical experts, including a cardiologist, registered nurse, exercise physiologist and certified cardiovascular technicians. Once you begin the program, we monitor your progress and share the results with your primary care provider.

The best vascular disease care in the Rocky Mountain region.
We can evaluate and treat all conditions affecting your vascular system (arteries and veins). We have vast experience in treating arterial and venous diseases, including carotid artery disease and aneurysmal disease, and we are experts in limb preservation. We employ evidence-based practice—an approach that integrates clinical expertise, research evidence and your values into each care plan—to ensure you’ll receive the most comprehensive diagnosis and care possible. We also consult with specialists from rheumatology, nephrology, hematology and wound care to ensure that we fully meet your unique needs.
